Inspection BULCARGO Ltd. - Varna (Bulgaria) is an independent organization founded in 1991. The company's activities include quantitative and qualitative inspections of all kinds of goods, marine surveys, expertises, laboratory analyses, damages’ statements etc.

  The company is legally registered and our activities are co-ordinated with all State Institutions, such as Customs and Committees concerned with the import and export of goods.

      We have specialists with vast experience in the area of commodity inspections. We have qualified experts in marine matters such as: draft surveys, on/off hire surveys, bunker surveys, lashing surveys, preloading surveys, ship / hill / machinery surveys, condition surveys, clean holds inspection, P & I Statements.

      In addition we have specialists such as: Captains (Masters) - with more than 10 years working experience in the profession for Bulgarian and foreign Shipping Co., Marine Engineers (Mechanic Engineers) - all of them graduates of High-Professional Marine Scholl, Hull Engineers as well as Experts on different types of goods - agronomists, textile engineers, chemists, veterinary surgeons and others, which we use if necessary.

      Aside from the high educated specialists, we have technical personnel for taking samples of the goods, weighing the vehicles, counting the packed cargoes (commodities), etc.

      For performing analyses, in accordance with the type of the goods, we are using specialized laboratories and authorized by the Committee of the Standardization.

      Our efficient transport vehicles provide quick services and our state-off-the-art office equipment assures timely and precise preparation of the necessary documentation. Our head office is situated in Varna and we have representation and possibilities to operate in all sea and Donau’s cities and ports in the country. We also have possibilities to service trough related organizations in Europe, Asia and other countries. BULCARGO Ltd. is a member of INLABCO - International Association of Independent Laboratories and Consultant Chemists situated in Hamburg, Germany and through this membership also in EPCA - CCIA. Also we are a member of ACS - Associated Cargo Surveyors Co. Ltd. - Bangkok, Thailand.

      BULCARGO Ltd. keeps close contacts with SOCOTEC INTERNATIONAL INSPECTION and we perform inspection on their behalf on the territory of Bulgaria. Our company is certified on ISO-9002 - Certificate No. QS-1297HH, by GERMANISHER LLOYD CERTIFICATION GmbH - Hamburg, Germany and we are in contacts for performing mutual activities of survey of different kinds of goods with them. BULCARGO Ltd. is in contract and is authorized by the french classification society BUREAU VERITAS for performing of quality and quantity inspection of all kind of goods transported by sea and land - as their subagent on the territory of Bulgaria.

      Our company is authorized Bulgarian Insurance Companies like “Bulstrad”, “Europa” etc. to certificate damages, arisen during transportation of the cargoes. The documents issued by BULCARGO Ltd. have proof value and power to Bulgarian as well as to international institutions.

      We also have a special unit for inspection of cereals (grain) such as wheat, corn, barley, sunflower seed etc. We have controlled approximately 35 % of the export of the above mentioned crops.
